As part of our priorities to improve access to our services, we will be offering a broad range of advice services from Havelok’s Stepping Stones Office, Hainton Chambers, Hainton Avenue, Grimsby, from Tuesday 6th May 2008.
In the short term we will also continue to deliver customer service from Hamshaw House and will keep you posted of any further changes.
For the long term, we are looking at improving our links with other agencies to enable us to sign post you to the correct service provider, who you can trust to resolve your issue if we can’t.
Currently we can deliver the following from both offices;
Issue applications for joining the housing register, offer general advice and receive, check and photocopy necessary documentation to support your application for housing
Offer general advice and register details for further action in relation to housing issues i.e. anti social behaviour, complaints, rent arrears
Sign posting service i.e. Citizen Advice, Homelessness Team
Facilitate language line if English is not your first language
